So, FUNKY THAT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, IT STILL STINKS!
Lil Jon had to sample this classic.
Look At Shelia E Her Cute Self!
True funk still 2024
Sheila E on them drums and in the pocket
Dukey stick was that classic banger 🔥🔥🔥
Masterpiece, like everyone, my first time hearing this. I mistakenly thought this was P-Funk in some type of way. Dukey Stick and Movin On are classic George Duke. And, of course his George Duke and Stanley Clarke collaboration.
Wowwww, THIS ISSS THE SHITTT!!!😅🔥 Thank you for sharing🙏🏼❤️
And if you EVER SHOULD SEE “a skunk shake his rump” tell him to come over here for some.. Big Funk in the Dump Baby 👌🏿
Reach for it baby..😘
Funk at it's best 💃💃💃
Lil jon and tha eastside boyz

REMEMBERING GEORGE DUKE (JANUARY 12, 1946 - AUGUST 5, 2013) [01/12/2024]
The moment when you realize you lost and lost George Duke,Bootsy, George Clinton,Rick James, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin,Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Barry White,Stevie Wonder along with so many other great artists. It is then you look and say we lost only if we knew when we had them in our grasp what would would have done as a people to keep them longer. Damn, Damn, Damn. Rest in Peace Rythem and Blues,Funk,Soul .
Ok am I the only one who had no idea Sheila E played with him?!?!
December 2023❤ music 🎶
Classic song 🎶
Sheila Escovedo
Painfully shy, no idea how hot he was and still my top favorite to this day. Love you Billy Squire.
Hi there, I'm wondering where you got this video/if you know the episode air date?
"The young Sheila E on the Drums with Georges Funk Duke Band"
Real music 🎶🎶🎶🎶
Shelia was fine AF
REMEMBERING George M. Duke (January 12, 1946 - August 5, 2013) [08/05/2023]
Damn that's Sheila e on the drums I didn't even know it
I remember when the Keytar came out. Cats started calling that the dookie stick
Classically trained, one of the greatest Zappa alumni, & super funky leader. George left an amazing body of work.
"ZAPPA ALUMNI"???
He gave his musicians room to stretch out. He didn't learn that from Zappa I dont think.
You mean this wasn't by Bootsy Collins?
Nope. The great George Duke
@@RTDavis0503 Now that you mention it, George Clinton threw major shade at George Duke in one of Pedro Bell's cartoons on one of Clinton's albums, referring to him as "George Dookie" and a "Copycat Arch funk Villain" along with "Trick James." Ouch! I guess the P Funk mob didn't take too kindly to this.
George Duke lives on through his incredible music. ❤ 🕊
George duke and family brought the P Funk stank and it grooves still
I remember Bootsy Collins saying in an interview that George Duke was copying him
Well He kind of was. The best compliment is imitation
@@RTDavis0503 Well, Bootsy sure didn't think so...Nor did Prince when Ready for the world was copying him...
Nothing wrong with copying one of the best.. James Brown & Sly Stone was copied
F U N K
NDUGU, you are STILL alive brother! This groove shall live on forever!
I stole this song on 45 back in 1977 from Tower Records. I was 14. I was addicted to funk.
Thank you Mr. Duke for that funk ❤️. RIP
Now this is how you make an old school music video! Too many rap & hip-hop fans overlook the samples where their favorite songs come from. Lil Jon and Scarface both sampled Dukey Stick (Lil Jon was more successful artistically and commercially with Play No Games than Scarface was.). I could listen to this track on repeat for hours.
Hell yeah real funk RiP George Duke and a young Shelia E
😆 I was THERE! 1st concert I ever went to. I was 13.
Wow ....I didn't know Ndugu Chancellor played with George.....this is outstanding!!
REMEMBERING GEORGE DUKE (January 12, 1946 - August 5, 2013) [01/12/2023]
I didn’t know there was a video for this song.
RIP George Duke. Thank you for making all our lives funky.
Their sax player did the sax portion for Foreigner's Urgent.
I was born in 76 I grew up on all of the good music💃🏾
Sheila E before she was “Sheila E”
I remember getting in trouble for singing this song. We weren’t allowed to say “dookie/dukey” 😂😂
